May 6, 2007 Atlanta’s largest Hispanic outdoor family festival, Fiesta Atlanta will take place, at Centennial Olympic Park. Over 25,000 people are expected to attend the first of what will become Atlanta's annual signature Hispanic event. Fiesta Atlanta will take place on Cinco de Mayo weekend and will be a day long celebration of Latino culture, music, and food.

May 11 & 12, 2007 Southern Comfort is bringing back the SoCo Music Experience this summer with performances by Wolf Mother and Cypress Hill. May 19, 2007 The Rialto Center for the Arts presents a Downtown Jazz and Street Party benefiting the Rialto Jazz-for-Kids school initiative and honoring ACVB's JoAnn Haden-Miller with the 2007 Rialto Pioneer Award. The Preservation Hall Jazz Band will perform A Salute to New Orleans. The band has traveled worldwide on a mission to propagate the art of New Orleans Jazz. May 19 & 20, 2007 The Atlanta Downtown Festival and Tour will feature 13 lofts, condos and other unique living spaces on a tour ranging from the South Central Business District and Fairlie Poplar through the Centennial Park area to Ralph McGill. The festival will include live entertainment on two stages beginning at noon each day, an artist market with more than 100 booths, a beer garden and other activities designed to showcase the vibrancy of Downtown living.
