10월 13일 14일 양일에 걸쳐서 미 공군 60주년 기념 에어쇼를 합니다. 60주년 기념 미국 6대 도시를 선정하였는데 애틀란타가 6곳중 한곳으로 선정되었더군요.
개인적으로 14일에는 이미 일정이 잡혀 있어서 13일에 에어쇼 관람 및 비행하는 모습을 담고자 참석할 계획입니다.
클럽에서 벙개?형식으로 함께 에어쇼 구경하러 가는게 어떨까요? 현존 최고의 전투기인 F-22까지 참여합니다. 이번 에어쇼에 참여하는 모든 비행체들은 지상에도 전시된다고 하니 가까운곳에서 직접 볼 수 있을듯하네요. ㅋㅋ

This year the U.S. Air Force will commemorate its 60th anniversary since it became a separate military service on September 18, 1947. The 60th anniversary gives the Air Force a chance to recognize the challenges it has overcome, the limits it has redefined and the future victories it will shape.
A series of monthly events, from February to October 2007, will lead up to Air Force Week in Atlanta, October 8-14. The official kick off was held at the Georgia State Capital building where Governor Sonny Perdue welcomed the "Heritage to Horizons" Air Force theme celebration to Georgia.
The purpose of Air Force Week is to inform and educate the American public, civic leaders, congress and military personnel about the importance and multiple roles of the Air Force in America's national defense.
Atlanta is one of six cities selected by Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. T. Michael Moseley to host an Air Force Week. The 94th Airlift Wing at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, near Marietta, is the host wing for local events.
The Great Georgia Airshow is proud to announce that Atlanta has been chosen as one of six American cities to showcase the 60th Anniversary of the US Air Force. It is a great honor for Georgia, and we are excited to be able to participate in such a great event.
Air Force Week in Atlanta begins October 8th-14th with the celebration culminating in performances at The Great Georgia Airshow on October 13th and 14th.

Advanced Discounted Tickets go on sale at ALL Kroger stores from September 10th until midnight October 12th. On line discounted tickets available through Aircraft Spruce now through October 8th delivered via mail and can be purchased in the Aircraft Spruce store located on Dividend Drive near the entrance to Falcon Field until close of business on October 12th.
