Ready for the Race

지난주 일요일에 보이스카웃에서 Pinewood Derby 자동차 경기가  있었습니다.

작년에는 순위에 들지도 못했었는데...

금년에는 그래도 16강까지는 갔네요...



소나무 블럭, 못네개, 바퀴네개를 가지고 

소나무 블럭은 아들과 톱으로 자르고 사포로 문지르고

바퀴가 잘 굴러가게 못을 빤질빤질 하게 광을 내고

바퀴를 마찰력을 늘리기 위해 사포로 살짝 다듬어 주고...

마무리로 색칠을 하고, 

자동차가 한쪽으로 쏠지지 않고 똑바로 가도록 하기위해

바퀴 얼라인먼트를 하고...


일주일이 바빴었습니다...

    아드님과 함께작업을 하셨다니, 제가 다 흐믓하네요. 좋은아버지 (작업하시면서 잘못한다고 아들 꾸중은 많이 안하셨겠죠 ;-)

    빛들어간 처음사진 좋습니다.

    가끔 Keepbusy님 보이스카웃 이야기를 읽다보면.... 아들이 보이스카웃이 아니라 아빠가 보이스카웃 활동을 더 즐기는 듯합니다. ㅋㅋㅋ
    사랑스러운 스토리. 읽는 사람도 입가에 미소가 머물게 되네요.

    아이의 성장기는 아이가 아니라 그 아빠에게 남죠... 그 아이는 그리 잘 기억하지 않습니다...
    그러나 그 아이가 아빠가 되면 그 아들의 성장기를 자신에게 남기며 자신의 성장기를 가슴에 묻은 아버지를 처음으로 그리워하게 될 겁니다....
    그렇게 사람은 성장해 가는 것 같습니다.....

    재윤이가 커서 아빠가 얼마나 훌륭한 아빠 역할을 하셨는지 알겁니다.

    세월이 많이 지나,, 보이스카웃 사진들을 보면 무척 흐뭇할 것이라고 생각합니다..
    이런 개인사적인 사진들은 오래오래 봐도 질리지 않을 것 입니다.
