June 5, 2007 A public hearing to provide opportunity for public comment on the Northwest I-75 / I-575 Corridor project and the environmental studies required as part of the project’s review will occur next Tuesday, June 5th at the Atlanta Civic Center at 5 p.m. We encourage you to attend and provide your input. June 7, 2007 Turner First Thursdays is a self-guided art walk that showcases the many art venues in Downtown Atlanta — commercial art galleries, museums, and non-profit arts venues. Highlights this month include an artists’ talk with exhibited artist architects Amy Landesberg & Mark Cottle at the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design Gallery and a photography exhibition and book signing by noted photojournalist Clarence Davis at the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library. www.atlantadowntown.com

June 7, 2007 and every Thursday in June will be rockin’ in Downtown Atlanta! Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta will host the Georgia Music Hall of Fame's “Live at Five,” a weekly, live, Happy Hour concert series. “Live at Five” will feature acoustic performances by top local musicians like Sean Costello, Anthony David and more at Hard Rock’s acclaimed Velvet Underground club. Proceeds from this weekly event will benefit MIKE, the Georgia Music Hall of Fame’s “Music in Kid’s Education” program. www.hardrock.com

June 20, 2007 City Grill invites guests to escape rush hour on the third Wednesday of every month at Wine on Wednesday . The tasting in June features Left Bank Bordeaux.
