June 7, 2007 Turner First Thursdays is a self-guided art walk that showcases the many art venues in Downtown Atlanta — commercial art galleries, museums, and non-profit arts venues. Highlights this month include an artists’ talk with exhibited artist architects Amy Landesberg & Mark Cottle at the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design Gallery and a photography exhibition and book signing by noted photojournalist Clarence Davis at the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library. www.atlantadowntown.com

June 7, 2007 and every Thursday in June will be rockin’ in Downtown Atlanta! Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta will host the Georgia Music Hall of Fame's “Live at Five,” a weekly, live, Happy Hour concert series. “Live at Five” will feature acoustic performances by top local musicians like Sean Costello, Anthony David and more at Hard Rock’s acclaimed Velvet Underground club.
