이번에 한쿡 다녀 왔어요.

추억의 옛날 핫도그...

설탕과 케찹이 서로 안 어울리는듯 하면서도 묘하게 어울리는 이 맛!

이거 두개나 먹고 왔어요.

    강아지님 오랜만이네요. 고국에 다녀오셨군요. 더 맛을 내려고 설탕에 까지 무치나 보아요.
    핫도그보다 이쁜 엄지손톱이 눈에 띕니다 ;-)

    네 갔더니 좋더라구요... 이름은 핫도그지만 도나스의 삘이 워낙에 강한지라...
    설탕이 꼭 필요한 식품입니다.
    참고로 손톱은 제꺼... 제가 한손톱 함돠...

    미국에서 처음 핫도그를 주문해 받아들고 난감했던 기억이 있습니다.
    '뭐여 이거! 진주햄 천하장사를 왜 빵에 껴주고 난리여!'

    나중에 비스므리하게 생긴 것이 콘도그라는 확인하고는 반가운 마음에 한입 배어물었으나  '이맛이 아니야... 아니야...' 했던 아쉬운 기억이...

    아사동에서 여러형태로 사람의 마음을 아련하게 만드는 사람들이 있었지만 심지어 한국산 핫도그를 들고 나타나 저를 싱숭생숭하게 할줄은 몰랐습니다. 

    흑흑... 핫도그가 먹고 싶은 것일까... 한국에 홀로 계신 엄마가 보고 싶은 것일까...

    우리 마음속의 진정한 핫도그는 따로 있지요.
    한살 한살 나이 먹으니 새로운것 보단 예전의 것들이 더 좋아지네요.
    아마 지춘님이 그리운건 이 핫도그를 먹던 그 걱정없던 어린시절, 다시는 돌아갈수 없어서 더 애타는 그때,
    나를 혼내키시던 어머님의 청춘, 이 모든것이 아닐까요...

    제가 한국을 떠난 70년대 초에는 저런 핫독은 없었던 걸로 기억합니다.  학교매점에서 자주 사먹었었는데 캐챱과 설탕부분은 본 기억이 없네요.

    저도 저런 핫도그를 먹은게 80년대부터가 아닌가 합니다.
    어쩌면 케찹과 설탕을 함께 뿌려 먹는 방식은 지역에 따라 다르수도 있지 않을까 하는 생각도 드네요.
    참고로 전 서울과 대구에서 성장했는데 그 두곳에선 저런 스타일이 대세였지요.
