더블 레인보우는 이전에 보기도 했고 사진도 담았었는데 자세히 보니 바깥에 반대 곡면으로 하나더 있더군요.

반대 곡면을 가진 트리플 레인보우는 듣도 보도 못했는데 귀가 사정으로 휴게소에서 몇장 급하게 찍느라 더 잘 살리지 못해 아쉽습니다.


다시는 물로 인간을 멸하지 않으시겠다는 하나님의 약속으로 알려져 있는데 세번씩이나 그것도 하나는 반대 곡선으로 보여져 의미심장한 장면으로 보여집니다.

    그런 면이 없지 않아 아쉽기도 했는데 올랜도로부터 돌아 오는 중 고속도로 상이라 어쩔수 없더군요. 그나마 카메라가 있었기에 다행이었죠.

    감사합니다. 트리플 레인보 검색해 보니 사진 많이 있더군요. 하지만 반대곡면을 보이는 것은 없어서 어떤 현상으로 이리 보이는 것인지 궁금합니다. 이것도 자세히 들여다 봐야 아주 조금 보이던 것이라 지나치기 쉬웠던 광경이었죠.

    Circumzenithal arcs 라는 이름의 현상아라네요. 성층권에서 아이스 크리스탈의 반사로 생기는 Halo 이라 레인보우 와는 다른 것이랍니다. 그리 자주 볼수 있는 현상은 아닌듯 한데 출장에서 돌아 오는 길 핏 스톱으로 휴게소 들어가며 발견한것은 행운이네요.
